"Your own personal Jesus."

The camping weekend did excluded any work on Sleepy E's "Wookie Pimp" movie suggestion (I have spent 10 seconds working on the script, however, so it is sure to be twice the films of the others, and just as spectacular as the Space Wars adventures since their scripts took just about as much thought). To satisfy your movie needs, however, I did finally manage to finish the final edit of "The Mummy's Revenge." Some of you have seen pre-release edits of this Dr. Zhivagian-like epic (it has a 10 minute running time!) Rest assured I paid close attention to your reactions and ignored every one of them. So, without further ado, here is the official release of The Mummy's Revenge. (Sorry it is a huge file, but I'm pretty dense about proper compression of Quick Time movies, apparently.) Here's the tag line: A movie inspired by Christmas and sure enough to cost its creators 10,000 years in hell.

Hey Clint-- I saw Candace at a party last night and had this incredible nostalgia for the old days hanging out at Kendra's. Remember the "smoking porch"? Those were the days.

  3. If you tack .mov on the end of your download, the movie will play in quicktime.

  4. I'm much rather watch A Mummy's Revenge than Star Wars.

  5. Hell, like heaven, is timeless. Surprised you didn't know that.

  6. That depends our your particular spin of cosmology, doesn't it?

  7. Oh and I would have put purgatory, but it is far less fun to write purgatory, and doesn't have sideways LDS refrences built in to it.

  8. I tried to download this but my dial-up got tired and lost interest after about 6 hours. It can't cope with manly file sizes. If you have Quicktime 6.5, you can probably open your .mov file there, then hit export and it'll show you a bunch of different codecs to choose from (mpeg4, avi, mov, whatever). Choose a codec, then hit options and it should open up a window that will allow you to adjust the compression on a sliding scale from (Least Quality to Best). I've never done this but who knows it seems like it might work. If you did the automatic upgrade to Quicktime 7, then this export function will no longer be present (you have to pay for a pro key to access many of the functions native to QT6.5)--yet another blog topic: software comanies employing dirty trickery in order to regain control over their products.

  9. Yeah, my PowerBook did the automatic upgrade. I'll see what I can do to get iMovie to cooperate. I think I can get a really small version up.

  10. Fuck the upgrade. There's actually an Uninstall QT7-Reinstall QT6.5 download on the Apple website (probably Support>Quicktime>Downloads or something like that). I did this but it still left some weird crap on my machine that messed up my Final Cut Pro. I had to do a fingers-crossed uninstall/reinstall of FCP thanks to QT7. Then again, if you pay for the Pro status, QT7 looks cool.
