The Utah Arts Festival was this weekend. Given that I was adverturing in the wilds of Salt Lake and Park City on Friday and Saturday, I only managed to get to it Sunday evening.
These folks were particularly snappy in their dancing. They eventually moved into the dance floor right in front of the stage to cheers from the crowd. The Preservation Hall Jazz band was playing. I then moseyed on over to watch Vile Blue Shade, a local SLC band at the Big Mouth Cafe stage. VBS is another in a long line of excellent SLC rock bands. They also openly smoked and drank their PBR on stage, violating several laws. That act of rebellion was made extra-amusing since the Big Mouth Cafe stage was right in front of the City & County building.
